Who was at fault during the Titanic sinking?

There are many factors that played into the sinking of the titanic but ultimately whose fault was it?

A gigantic ship, almost 900 ft long and 175 feet high, it was a feat of engineering. The R.M.S. Titanic weighed more than 40,000 tons and it was the best ship in its time or was it? The Titanic was considered unsinkable at the time. The R.M.S Titanic was built by hundreds of Irish workers who worked for the White Starline Company. The Titanic was equipped with every safeguard against sinking known. It was built with strong steel beams and the ship itself had 16 water-tight containers including a special pumping system that would delay the rise of the water if it got in. The White Starline Company spent about 7.5 million dollars (or 400 million in today’s money), and despite all of the money, effort, and safety features the massive ship still sank, more than 1500 passengers and crew lost their lives. In my opinion human error is to blame for the sinking of the titanic.

Multiple reasons support human error as a cause of sinking in the titanic but this fact surprised me. The captain was sailing the huge ship too fast through the iceberg heavy waters and when the crash did take…
